I bought an elliptical machine from Costco. How far into the future can I return it?
The thing is huge and expensive. I want to see if having it around will work for me better than having a gym membership. I want to give myself 6 months to get on board with the new plan.
If it doesn’t work out and I’ve used the elliptical for 6 months, can I still return it to Costco?
I know they have a good return policy, but just how good is it?
Call your store and ask. I purchased a 50″ plasma tv from them 4 years ago. I returned it almost a year to the day that we bought it. It was within a week. I understand that they have since changed their policy. But membership has its privileges.
I have never been to Costco, but was looking it up and WOW I read that you can return anything except for computers anytime as long as you have the same membership. I’d probably call the store or e-mail them and ask just so you don’t end up being stuck with a huge and expensive item that might not be what you need. I wish I would have bought mine there…..
You would need to check with them. It is people like you that make stores reduce the amount of time that you can return products. Would you complain if the item you bought as new, turned out to be used?
You will be ok with returning that item. As long at is only 6 months you will not have a problem. As long as it has not been abused everything will be fine. Dont try to say that it wasnt used just tell them you tried it and it isnt working out
